Context variables don't change after publishing updated job to TMC

Good morning!

I have a plan in TMC with 3 jobs. For two of these jobs, I changed the context variables in the Studio (I can see the updated context variables in the job) and published (multiple times) the job to the Cloud. I also updated the task in TMC (with this small icon) and I can see that the job in TMC (and in the Plan) has the new version number.

However, the context variables are still the old ones. I tried it multiple times with no luck.I had to delete the plan, all corresponding jobs and re-create everything from scratch before the updated context variables were visible.

Any idea what could have caused this?
