Custom Message and description option while checking into GITLAB

Hi, 

Our company has all its repositories in Gitlab. the only condition being, that on every check-in a ticket number and description of the changes must be provided during check-in. else the server rejects. For Talend studio to work with the git lab we need an option to provide these custom messages during check-in.

Disabling the repository server rules is not an option.

Has anyone else come across this issue? It seems like a basic necessity to provide description during check-in of code which the Studio does not allow.  

I am currently using Talend Cloud Big Data Platform 7.1.1

      It looks like a new feature request. Since you are using a subscription version of Talend, could you please raise a case request so that support team can help you to check with Product Team.

HI NIkhil, 

 

I was able to register using our account code. I am now on the support page. 

The issue is , the drop-down does not list any available licence without which I can submit the case.

Can you please help me with this.

Under the heading, I chose Talend Big Data, and the Talend Integration cloud, either way, did not work.

Hi Badri,

 

    I believe your email id might not have registered to Talend support portal. Could you please check with your team, who is the authorized person to raise Talend support tickets for your license?

 

    If you are the authorized person and you are not seeing the right details, may be we will have to get advise of @xdshi
