Difference between the Talend Open Studio versions

Hi

at this page I saw there are 6 flavors of Talend Open Studio.

Is there a comparison sheet between the 6 different versions? Do they comprehend different components or all of them have the full components set and only differ in nuances?

Thank you

Hi,

If you are using Talend DI version, you will have only Standard jobs available in your designer. In case you need to create Big Data jobs which will run over Spark, you will have to opt for Talend Big Data Edition. Similarly, ESB edition is needed if you need to run real time activities like Web services. The standard jobs will be available even in higher editions also.

Now, if you are looking for Enterprise version of Talend, you can get the full platform as paid version from Talend where you can easily do all code management, job scheduling etc. I would also recommend you to try Talend Cloud version where lot of activities are handled by Talend itself as managed services.

Hi,

Each of these versions focus on different areas of data processing. For example, Data Integration will have only Talend Standard Jobs where as BigData Open source can do both Standard and BigData data processing. I would recommend to use the "View details" link for each item to understand the flavour and to check whether it matches your requirement.
