Editing JSON Tree Structure

Hello,

I am new to Talend Open Studio and running a data migration job from Oracle to MongoDB. I have quite a few attributes which I am mapping to a JSON tree in tMongoDBOutput component, and it is getting somewhat cumbersome to constantly edit and change the structure using the editor.

For example, if I have to create a new element with embedded fields, I have to delete the current elements including all its embedded elements, then create a new element and recreate the deleted elements' subelements. It would be much better if I could just drag and drop the current elements into the new elements, but alas that does not seem to possible.

I am wondering whether there is an easier to way to embed current elements into a new element without having to recreate the entire element.

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Could you please elaborate your case with an example with input and expected output values? Screenshots will be preferred.

Thanks for your time.

Best regards
