Error on Studio start-up after trying to install component from Exchange

So I'm running OS 7.1.1 and I tried to install the log4J component that is available in Exchange.  After a few times having it error out while trying to install it, it finally said "installed" in the status window.  On restart of OS, I see:

So, 2 Questions:

1) for the log4j component in Exchange, can this even run under 7.1.1?  The compatibility matrix seems to go only up to v6,

and then so I'm wondering why I can even install this if that's the case?

2) How do I resolve this error so I stop seeing this at runtime?

Are you trying to install tUniserCDHOutput custom component in your studio?

Did you follow up this online documentation about:TalendHelpCenter:How to install and update a custom component?
