How can I connect my IBM Cloud using the DB type IBM Db2 in DB Connections(Metadata)

I'am beginner at using talend and i want to try to use the IBM Cloud (Free) in talend open studio. can someone tell me what Information to get on the IBM Cloud or what should i do to make the connection successful?

Hi,

    I have not personally used IBM Cloud. But to connect to DB2, following are the list of mandatory fields. Could you please try to connect to DB using this component and let us know the output?

what i want to know is where to find that Host, database, username, and table schema and also where can i get the jar files needed? because i cant download in directly in talend.

Also i want to know how to create my own database/table in the IBM DB2 Cloud because when i try to make a table it say i dont have a privilege to make a new table and i think maybe i didnt do the right thing.

Hi,

   I would recommend to check the details with IBM Cloud Support. Your user role may not be having sufficient privileges.
