How can I create a Normal or Artifact Task using MetaServlet api

I got a requirement to create a task via API. Then I found there is a command named "saveEsbTask" in link https://help.talend.com/en-US/administration-center-metaservlet-api/8.0/metaservlet-commands. 

Should I use this api to create a task?
