How to Authenticate to URL on tRest Component.

Hi Everyone,

I am new to tRest component family and using it for the very first time in Talend DI.

I could successfully use "GET" method and retrieve the parameters from the given URL and could successfully run a job.

However, while sending status of the job back to Middle ware, I am using "POST" method.

I am not able to understand how this needs to be done. I have following Specific Questions :

1) How to Authenticate for the component.

2) Upon authentication, how to send different parameters and its values in the URL.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks,

Supriya Tapkir.

Hi Manohar, Thanks for your input.

But, tRestClient is not available in TDI. It is available in ESB platform.

Is there any alternative for this in TDI.

Thanks,

Supriya Tapkir.
