Hello, this task could be very helpful for me, but it isn’t working (see Handling errors https://help.talend.com/reader/VXLHZvns6nwhPGeQbm1Iig/yGfR4mQDSvcyN6zce7d2IA).
I’m using Talend Open Studio Data Integration 7.1.1. After unchecking the DieOnError-option in tMap, I cannot click “OK“ – I can only exit the “Property Settings“ dialog box with the X; the unchecking is taken over. After leaving the dialog box, there is no new output table "ErrorReject" to connect tMap with tLogRow.
Are there any preconditions, which need to be fulfilled?
Thanks for your help, James.
open tmap editor
ideally it should be at output (right) side of editor. you must do the mapping and then attach the errorreject output to tlogrow.
otherwise send the screenshot of tmap editor.
I have done the mapping and this is my tMap editor screenshot. How shall I attach the errorreject output?
I can confirm - this is not work in Open Studio 7.1.1, but work in subscription version 7.0.1
possible it is a bug of 7.1.1, so you can register error with Talend, but because it is Open Studio - in the best case it will be fixed in the next version
Hello vapukov,
thanks for testing. I tested ErrorReject in Version 7.01, but it isn't working either.
How can I report the bug?
I confirm that 7.1.1 and 7.0.1 can't work.
6.5.1 can work.
(I tested All Version in Open Studio)
Probably It's 7.X bug.
HI,
as I wrote - it work in 7.0 but subscription version
and not work in 7.1.1 Open Studio
it a bug, just need to understand - when it will be fixed?
Hi TomoTH and vapukov,
thanks for your help.
I have found out that this bug has already been recorded here:
Hello All,
I'm afraid to say tMap error reject output feature doesn't work well on Talend Open Studio V 7.1.1. It works in 7.1.1 but subscription version.
Our TUP developers are trying their best to hot-fix this jira issue:https://jira.talendforge.org/browse/TUP-20851
I will keep you posted for any update. Very sorry for the inconvenience.
Best regards
Sabrina
