How to configure AMC database in TAC?

The AMC Database install is complete but connecting the AMC web app to the DB is not clear in the instructions. How specifically does teh AMC app know about the AMC database?

AMC WAR file deployment (website) doesn't work out of the box but does show up within TAC

In the Activity Monitorning Console page, select a db connection from the Connections list in the top left corner, if there is no db connection yet, click + button to create a new one that points to the AMC database.

This is the path that the war file deploys to in tomcat. AMC website doesns't show up.

Try to access AMC with in TAC. You will see a Dashboard with the name AMC. Just select it and create a connection with respect to the AMC dabatase you have like user,password,DB URL, table names

I can see AMC inside TAC. The website as deployed from the WAR file doesn't function.

yes, it wont work. You can use AMC within TAC or from Studio

As sunil said, accessing directly the AMC URL in a browser isn't a support action, you can only access AMC in TAC or Talend Studio.
