How to connect to a CouchDB Database with Talend Open Studio for Big Data?

Hello,

Is it possible to connect to a couchDB database in an efficient way?

I don't see any specific connector for CouchDB. It looks like there were some in the past ("tCouchDBInput" for instance), but there are deprecated and I cannot get it anywhere. It is not in my default component list and I cannot find it on Talend Exchange.

So how am I supposed to connect to CouchDB? Maybe through "HTTP" components directly?

Hello,

As CouchDB components work with outdated version of the applications that are not supported anymore by the editors, starting from V 7.2, they are deprecated.

You are able to use them in V 7.3.1.

Components should be hidden by default from the palette and only available if you make them visible in the property of the studio.

Hello,

As CouchDB components work with outdated version of the applications that are not supported anymore by the editors, starting from V 7.2, they are deprecated.

So far, there is no alternative CouchDB-Connectors in talend.

Feel free to create a new feature jira issue on talend bug tracker.
