How to extract data from cassandra using kerberos authentication

Hi TEam,

We are using Cassandra for 3 years now. Our organization is upgrading the Security standards and implementing Kerberose authentication everywhere. we need to convert all the existing Talend jobs which extracts, inserts, updates and deletes data from Cassandra.

We have implemented this in other DBs, Oracle and Teradta using Additional Parameters in Advanced Tab. but tCassandraInput doesn't have any of these options.

Did anyone tried implementing this already?

Please help.

Hello,

So far, talend Hive components can be set a connection with kerberos authentication using keytab.

Here also exists a KB article about: https://community.talend.com/s/article/Using-JDBC-components-to-connect-to-Kerberos-enabled-Impala-h...

Not sure it would work in your case.

Feel free to create a work item jira issue on talend bug tracker.
