Incompatible operand types int and CellType

Hi, one of our users is getting the following error when running one of our jobs.  The job uses tFileExcel components (custom components) to bring together multiple excel files into one excel workbook.

The job works absolutely fine for me, using the exact same files.

Is there any reason why it wouldn't work for my colleague?

The error really isn't very helpful and we've been unable to fix this.

Please note, we are SQL developers and not Java developers, we are also not very experienced with Java, so is difficult for us to work out what the problem is.

Thanks

Steve

Hi again @nthampi

This has been resolved by removing the Zulu java install, removing Studio, and re-installing both.

Thanks

Steve

Hi Steve,

The error says JVM compatibility issue. Could you please double check whether the specific computer is using right version of Java while running the Talend job. I believe this is the root cause of your issue.

Hi Nikhil

Thank you for the reply.  I don't think it's the java version as we all use the same version, installed using the Talend recommended Zulu installer.  My colleague has even removed this and re-installed, but still gets the same error.

They are now removing Talend Studio as well and starting with a fresh install.

I will post back the results here.

Regards

Steve

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the update. Like I sad earlier, there could be some version related issue during your initial installation.

Could you please mark the topic as resolved so that it will help others during their reference?
