Job Conductor - Using a custom value for a context parameter in a Parent Job isn't used in a child job
I have a parent job with several child jobs inside it. The parent job and child jobs use the same context groups. I created a task in Job Conductor to run the parent job. I changed the values of the context parameters and execute the job, but Talend doesn't propagate the custom context parameter changes to the child jobs. I have published the parent job with the check box for "Apply Context to Children" selected. What am I doing wrong?
Did you define context variable in the child Job, to pass a value from parent Job to child Job? Does the value change as it should be, when running the parent job and checking the value of this context variable from child job in studio? Could you please give us some job setting screenshots?
