We would like to understand the main benefits of using Marketo components instead of Rest client. Is there any advantage in performance? bulk operations? etc.?
Usually the Marketo (or for that matter any application or DB specific components) components will be created to extract the data from it in best possible way and the code along with associated jars are already embedded in it.
As a general thumb rule, if we have a specific component to do data extraction or data loading I would always prefer to use it rather than generic tRest component.
