Move file from one folder to another in FTP server
Hello,
I am trying to move a file from one folder to another in ftp server and I tried using ftpconnection-->ftplist-->ftprename. A new excel file will be placed everyday and I need to copy it into a different folder in the same FTP server. But the problem is I do not know the file name. I just know the extension as ".xlsx" file.
I have also tried ftpconnection-->ftplist-->ftpcopy but doesn't work as it is trying to copy file into my local machine instead of remote.
I am trying to copy files from :
home/talend/out/ERP/
to
/home/talend/out/ERP/siffile/talend_input/business_input_file/
Please provide a suitable solution.
Thanks
SK

HI @skrc0213,
As far as I know it is not possible to move to a different directory without traferring the file to your local dir and then doing an FTPput into the dir you want to copy it to
