PostgreSQL 18 support with Talend tDB components (R2025-01v2 / Engine 2.13.9)

Hello,

We are currently evaluating a migration to PostgreSQL 18 and would like to confirm compatibility with Talend Data Integration.
Our context:

• Talend version: R2025-01v2
• Remote Engine: 2.13.9
• PostgreSQL is not our main application database, but used through Talend components (tDBInput, tDBOutput, tDBRow, etc.)

From the documentation, PostgreSQL is listed as “version 12 and later”, but we understand this may not explicitly include newly released versions like v18.

1. Are Talend PostgreSQL components (tDBInput, tDBOutput, tDBRow, etc.) officially supported with PostgreSQL 18?
2. If not officially supported:
   • Are there any known issues or limitations when using PostgreSQL 18?
   • Is there any planned support or roadmap for PostgreSQL 18?
3. Feedback ?
   • Has anyone successfully used PostgreSQL 18 with Talend in production?
   • Any feedback or recommendations?

As of April 2026, PostgreSQL 18 is not yet officially supported for use with Talend Data Integration components as of version R2025-01v2. 

While the Talend Installation Guide generally supports "PostgreSQL 13.3 or newer," the official certification usually lags several months behind major database releases.
