Regeneration Job

Hi,

I am migrating from SVN to GIT. on the TAC, when the jobs are modified with source pointing to GIT, is it required to regenerate the Job. 

Is there a way to avoid regenerating but continue to use the old binary after modifing the source to point to GIT
