I had 3 data load to mssql jobs running, and i was building a cobol copy book when the studio crashed. is there a way that i can restart the 3 previously running jobs from where they left off? thanks ahead of time for any guidance on this.

It is impossible with community version, you have to restart the job from the beginning of the job execution whenever you execute the job. There is an advanced feature call "Error recovery" in Talend enterprise subscription version, it allows user to restart the job from the last checkpoint prior to the failure.
