SAP HANA Connectivity- Talend

Hi Team,

I need to establish a connection with SAP HANA and transfer some tables to SQL Server. Could you confirm if setting up an SAP RFC server is required for connecting to SAP HANA? Also, is the SAP component provided by Talend certified and secure?
