SCD implementation error - historical loads

I've tmap null pointer exception.

I'm trying to design scd2 on an historical load.  

I'm getting a null pointer exception when I lookup on target table(which is empty). Is it possible to do this operation with this method? else how to implement SCD on historical data which has duplicates.(No SCDcomponent for redshift)

it seam to be your output filter can you publish them (or try without any filter on output table)

The performance is bad.
