TAC Talend Administration Center - nexus.error.wrongstatus (302)

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue with the interaction between TAC (R2025-08) and Nexus (3.63).

The issue is as follows:

  • The base URL of Nexus is HTTPS, and I can access it correctly from TAC, including browsing the repository:

2025-11-03 11:47:55 INFO URLCheckUtil - Checking URL 'https://****************' result: OK

However, when creating an artifact task, clicking on a
.zip file in the Nexus repository triggers a popup with the following error:

nexus.error.wrongstatus

Before applying the patch, no logs were generated. After patching TAC, the logs show:

2025-11-03 11:51:17 ERROR RepositoryBusiness - Unexpected response status 302 for nexus http://**************/repository/snapshots/org/example/test/0.2.0-SNAPSHOT/test-0.2.0-2025102

As you can see, the URL unexpectedly switches from HTTPS to HTTP. Our client is trying to configure the reverse proxy to enforce HTTPS but is encountering some difficulties.

Could you advise if there is any option in TAC to handle 302 redirection status?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
Nicolas

Hello !

I reached the support and my client applied one of their recommendation :

2. If you use a reverse proxy or load balancer:

Ensure it forwards these headers to Nexus:
Host
X-Forwarded-Host
X-Forwarded-Proto: https
X-Forwarded-Port: 443
X-Forwarded-For
Ensure port 80 redirects to HTTPS only.

Everything works fine now because it's not sending a redirect status

Hello @NMonchicourt

I think the best way for you to find a solution to this is to contact support. They will be able to hold a Zoom meeting with you and take a look at your config to see how best to resolve this. Please raise a ticket on Qlik Customer Portal
