TOS 7.3.1 hangs when accepting licence agreement

I just installed the new TOS 7.3.1 version.

When starting the splash screen appears then the screen with the licence.

Upon pressing the "I accept" button nothing happens. TOS hangs.

 

Until now I worked with TOS 7.2.1

This looks like it is your Java version. Take a look at this thread. There is a minimum version recommended here...

On a first start there is often a delay while certain libraries are downloaded. Can you send a screenshot of the application frozen?

The licence screen persists. The "I accept" button seems to be dead - no reaction.

Does ALT+TAB reveal any other windows that may be hidden?

OK, that is the basic stuff out of the way. What operating system are you using and what version of Java do you have?

I have Windows 10 with Java 8.

 

My start script is as follows (except for the TOS_HOME same as for v7.2.1 where it works):

set JAVA_HOME="C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_121"
set TOS_HOME=C:\TOS\TOS_DI-Win32-20200219_1130-V7.3.1
"%TOS_HOME%\TOS_DI-win-x86_64.exe" -Dfile.encoding=ISO-8859-15

Many thanks! - That's it!

Your link to the solution says: v7.3.1 requires a version 1.8_161 minimum JDK.

I installed Oracle JDK 1.8_241. With this I can accept the license dialog and continue to configure the workspace and then open TOS.
