Talend Open Studio Not Opening

I have downloaded Talend Studio but when I run the TOS_ESB-linux-gtk-x86.sh file, the project selection screen appears and after I select the project nothing appears and following exception is thrown
"Jobs should be canceled by the plugin that scheduled them during shutdown: org.eclipse.ui.internal.ide.IDEWorkbenchActivityHelper$4"
Please help me. I have Kubuntu as my OS.

Linux princelappie 3.5.0-19-generic #30-Ubuntu SMP Tue Nov 13 17:49:53 UTC 2012 i686 i686 i686 GNU/Linux

Do you have similiar problems with TOS for data integration? I use Linux too and have never seen this exception.
(Xubuntu 64bit with Java 6)

you might want to double check that your JAVA_HOME points to the appropriate version of 32 or 64 as the 32 bit TOS you are launching from.
