What is the use of tReplicate

I was working on t Replicate , I found that it use to copy multiple files but same schema , is that the component does the same...

But my requirement is I need to copy 2 column in file , 3 in one file .... so no .........to do this I had used tmap .. but can I do it with help of replicate..

tReplicate is used to replicate data flows with the same schema, not to copy filles.
For what you want to do, use tMap.
