help with odbc, classnotfound...

hi all,
i've a talend open studio for di, version 5.2.1, installed on a centos 6.3 64 bit, and java version java-1.6.0-openjdk-1.6.0.0.x86_64. when i create a db connection with "generic odbc" as db type, with syntax working in jasper report, like "jdbc 0683p000009MA5A.pngdbc:name" (which also work with isql via command line), pressing on "check" button i receive this error : "Connection failure. You must change the Database Settings. java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver". the "rt.jar" is in the jre system libraries (from java preferences). any ideas?
thanks,
francesco

even with jre java-1.7.0-openjdk-1.7.0.9 (64 bit), a "generic odbc" connection does not work. always "java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: sun.jdbc.odbc.JdbcOdbcDriver" error. and even with this jvm, jasper can access these two databases via odbc.... any ideas?

is jasper using OPENJDK, is it in the same system?
i have also a question - how did you define the ODBC in your CentOS (linux) system?
thanks,
