how can i parse date using routine/function in data mapper

I am stuck in data mapper while processing date in data mappers map.

i am trying to convert 200203(yyMMdd)  to 202002030000(yyyyMMddHHmm).

For above purpose i used below method in map but getting error  

Error on line 172 column 25
Cannot convert from xs:string to java.util.Date
Exception in component tHMap_1 (Sedocia)
