how to seperate the address field and sort on their names

hello,

i have a table where address column are having rows like

  EmpNo, Address

  1. "1542 Tarlac Parkway"
  2. 900 Santiago de Compostela Parkway
  3. 1417 Lancaster Avenue

so, i want to create a target table where the address is stored like parkway = "PK", Avenue= "AV", Street = "St", Palace="PL" 

 

plz help.

tReplace component and use regex to match patterns.

Hi,

 

    You can use replace functions based on a lookup list you have created to change the address to the new formats. But I would strongly suggest to always use standardized versions of addresses.

 

    If the root cause of the query is to standardize the address, you can use taddressrowcloud component to perform the task. There are multiple options available in the component (like using Google, Experian QAS. Loqate, MelissaData reference data) and it will be seamless rather than creating altogether new standardization rules.
