[resolved] String VS Varchar?
Hi,
I have an tFileOutputDelimited file where all the columns are defined as Type STRING.
Now I'm documenting the record layout and have a question:
Is String the same data type as VARCHAR?
Thanks

Hi,
String is from java.lang.String. VARCHAR is usually used in DB.
String can be translated to "Varchar" in your data base.
Best regards
