Hi everyone.
I have a parent job and a child job. In the parent job I have the open connections and the close connections to Oracle.
And then, the Child Job.
In the child job, I have the same connections (and other sql queries down) but I WANT IT deactivated (there are activated in the parent job)
If I execute the parent job I see an error of java compilation... HOW CAN I DO THAT?
Parent job - open and close connections
Child job - open and close connections deactivated, sql queries
PD: I use Talend 7.2
Hi, you can shared connection between father and child job, to do this you set your connection in the father job tdbConnection(also the close connection)and you chose use a shared connexion : in the field you set the alias of the shared connexion and in the child job you can use a tdbconnection (you don't have to set any fields except the use shared connection one with the alias value you set in the father job).
so the connection is managed in the father job and the child job reuse it
