tHashInput Hangs When Main Connector is Connected to Other Component

When I connect the tHashInput to other components in Talend Studio, it hangs. Does anyone else have this error? Or, does anyone know how to troubleshoot this issue of the Studio hanging? Is there some kind of error log I can view? 

When I connect the tHashInput_1 to anything my Talend Big Data Platform Studio 6.2.1.20160704 just hangs... Just as in this screenshot.

Other components don't have this problem. 

Any ideas?

Turns out is the parallelization of the job. When I toggle the parallelization on/off it hangs and then doesn't hang. 

I'll start a new thread about that specifically.
