Hi @mkebede,

Greetings of the day,

i see that you are facing issues with your Talend, well considering the screenshot attached and the problem you are facing it is most likely that the jar files are not installed in your system and even if they are installed in your system you have to point your Talend to the components destination.

Well if the first case is true, where you dont have the components then you can download them from Teradata Website : https://downloads.teradata.com/download/connectivity/jdbc-driver or

https://sourceforge.net/directory/development/database/os:windows/

and if it is the second case where the components exist in the system then open your Open Studio and click on Windows(in the Menu bar)----->>>>>Preferences----->>>>>Talend-------->>>>>Talend Component ------>>> shows the default directory---change it to the directory where the components are existing.

Pls try above and if you are facing any issues, Pls get back to the Community.

Thanks,

Ankit

Hi,

There are changes in the way tDB component work from version 7 onwards.

Did you try to open the tDB component in a new job and check whether all the associated jars are automatically installed ? Sometimes the jars will be missing and the component will prompt to install the missing jars. Once you install them through the download path given in the popup, the component will start working in normal fashion.

Warm Regards,
