unable to Alter rename in hive database

   Am trying to rename the data base in hive using ALTER command,but am getting this error to resolve.

Thanks for your reply,i saw the post in earlier.am using the hortonworks v2.5.
How to check the hive version and which version it accepts to resolve in hive ?? Can u please give me the suggestion for this.

hive --version

It was showing the version 1.2.1.2.5, this version have features to rename the database into hive ?

@manodwhb,i saw this post but am using hive version 2.5
for this version we can alter the database name but we are getting this same issue again
is there any other way to do resolve this issue
