Hey guys this is mike Tarallo with Qlik. I wanted to share a brief demonstration
of our new scheduled email delivery of an exported chart or sheet, we are calling
self-service reporting. Our self-service reporting via subscription allows users
to schedule export document deliveries of the metrics and insights that are
relevant to them and they can do this by subscribing to an individual chart object
or an entire sheet so when they are in the app if they would like to subscribe to an
the entire sheet they can choose the menu in the upper left and select subscribe to sheet or
they can right-click on a chart object and choose to subscribe so the user follows a simple flow that allows them to enter a title along with schedule settings that control the distribution
of the exported document this includes delivery to specific days of the week or days of
calendar month along with set times allowing the user to create a schedule that fits their needs.
Users can also manage their subscriptions in the settings and management area
and on a per subscription basis, the user can review the details including the selections
applied at the time of creating the subscription they can also jump straight back into
the app with those selections applied to continue their analysis or verify the subscription.
And they can choose the send now an option that will trigger an immediate generation of the exported file and deliver it via email. Now when the email is received it will have a pdf
export attached to it of the selected chart or the sheet if a sheet is exported you will notice
that it will support the theme it was created with offering a professional-looking report.
The email also has a link back to the Qlik Sense SaaS environment allowing the user to continue their analysis with the latest data now for subscriptions to a chart the email will contain a high-resolution image of the chart for quick assessment along with links back to the app on the Qlik Sense SaaS environment. If you are a tenant admin you can review all subscriptions on the tenant along with filters and searches to make it easier and attended admin can also enable or disable a subscription and if required from within the settings area the tenant admin
can enable or disable the subscription feature altogether. Okay that's all I have thanks for
watching and be sure to check out these other valuable resources to learn more about
