Alternate Dimensions in Pivot or Simple Table

Hi Everyone,

I am trying to find a way to add alternative dimensions in a pivot table or a simple table, the same way we have in bar, line chart etc. What I am looking for is a dropdown list with all the dimensions in it. When I click on a particular dimension, the dimension part of the table must get replaced accordingly and the data should change as per the dimension applied. Please let me know how I can achieve this?

Best Regards,

Rony

Do I need to buy it? Is it not a free version?

If you want the plus version then you need to buy it. The other version is free, but doesn't have presets.

Hi Robert,

I am not able to understand how this would work.

Why do you think you need the functionality presets offer? You never mentioned that in your requirements.

I was not able to view the master visualization in the data set. That was the issue when I tried the extension. Everything that I am looking for I have mentioned in my first post. How do I achieve it using the usual climber extension.?

Why do you think you need to add the master visualization to the data set? The data set drop down in for presets.

Please see attached image. This is what it says when I drag and drop the extension onto the sheet. What is the next step? Please explain in simple terms.Untitled.png

Yes, so you need to drag the table you added to your master visualisation items there. Did you first add that table to the master items?

Yes I did. It just converts into the table that I added to the master visualization.
