Area Mapping in Qlik Sense

We use point and density layers often we are trying to use Area layers for the first time.

In our data, we have:

- project ID (####)

- Country (United States)

- Region (California, etc)

For the regions where there are more projects, we want a darker color.

For some reason, the Auto and Custom Scope for Locations aren't generating a visible output on the map.  Should the location type be "Administrative Area (Level 1)?"

hi

assuming your regions , are actually states than the answer is yes

but in any case , the qlik engine should have picked it up automatically

can you post example data with the region field values , no need to additional data
