Bar chart x axis not in correct sequence

I'm not sure why this would happen, but the chart I created has dates in random order. I am using autoCalendar.YearMonth. It should increase correctly by every month and every year.  Any idea what is wrong?

Make sure your bar charted is sorted correctly in the Sorting tab - Month should be first on the sort list and Numeric should be the first box checked (Sort by Expression should not be checked).

Thank you! How do I add Month to the sorting tab? Does it matter that I have it as YearMonth in my dimension?

In your case it would be YearMonth. Any dimension you use in your chart should automatically show up on the sort list.
