Bookmarks in QlikView and QlikSense

Can anyone pls let me know the diff of Bookmarks in QlikView and QlikSense.

How does it relate to stories in QlikSense.

Can we share the bookmark, I was not able to find the link for same.

Can we also apply any bookmark by default while opening an application in QlikSense.

When you create a bookmark it is stored in the Bookmarks view and available for everyone using the app. Bookmarks cannot be applied by default.

natively in Qlik Sense you can't apply bookmark by default, but you can achieve it using this extension http://branch.qlik.com/#!/project/58e20b0e86f54ab8e8f21512

that enable you also to apply bookmarks on sheet opening.

Hi, is there a way to turn this off, meaning make bookmarks personal again / only visible to the one that created it?

if you create a bookmark via browser it will be stored under "My bookmarks" and will be visible only to the user that created it (as private).

Only the bookmarks created in edit mode will be stored under "Base bookmarks" and will be visible to all users.
