Cached Memory utilization

Dear experts,

As you can see in below image, it is showing 34GB of cached memory. Also in parallel qlik sense is running..

So, need to know if we clear this cached during Qlik sense running, will it affect on Qlik sense environment because if we clear it we can utilize this 34 GB for other task.

Hi, 

From the reference doc. the running of Qlik Sense Engine will follow this pattern:

Clearing the cache may lead to performance issue since already loaded in memory app and results cache will need to be rebuilt. 

Nevertheless, you can set a lower time in the App cache time setting of the Engine in the QMC to clear the cache more often, if relevant: Engines | Qlik Sense for administrators Help

Please note that RAM consumption as shown as your screen is totally normal

Thank you for your response. So I can see the below settings in QMC:

As you mentioned and If I compare with QMC setting, does it means the App consuming cache memory for an 8 hrs [28800 seconds] ? if yes does it really required what if we keep only 1 hour?
