Calculate sales the difference for current and previous months

I have daily sales of the company.The data contains such fields as Date,amount of Sales,State of sale
I want to have dimensions in my final table year , month , state and calculate for these dimensions the measure like the difference beetween this state sales for current month and year and previous month.
