Calculating average age (tenure) of employees

Hello,

I am trying to calculated average tenure age of employees.  The measure below produces the right answer when single employee is filtered, but when filter is removed, it seems to calculate the longest tenure of employees rather than average.  I'd greatly appreciate it if any one could point me in the right direction how to calculate the average tenure of employees.
