Cant find button for data sources

Hello, currently following the out-of-date tutorial featured on this site for "Scripting for beginners." On step 8, the instructions say click data sources. Which you can see in the attached picture, is on the right side of the taskbar. I do not have this button and I cannot find it anywhere to proceed through the training. Can anyone lead me in the right direction?

After you click on Create new connection, there is a data source column in the middle. Is this what you are searching for?
