Change host name

Good afternoon,

i'm trying to change the host name of Qlik.

I have a central node. I read that you need to change the  Host.cfg file.

I'm not able to find it...I've got QLIK sense November 2022.

1. Make a copy of %ProgramData%\Qlik\Sense\Host.cfg and rename the copy to Host.cfg.old

Can somebody help? Thanks

Hi Carlaf_93, If the host.cfg is missing you create a new one using this article:

i see that in that article there are information about how to change it but not how to create it

Hi Carlaf_93, all you do is create a file called "host.cfg" and then used the decode64 to encrypt your hostname to be added to the file.
