Characters in IE vs Characters in Chrome

Hello, I am using Qlik Sense in Internet Explorer 11 and Google Chrome. I attached screen shots below. The characters are displaying incorrectly in IE, as shown in the first screen shot. The second screen shot is from Chrome where the characters are showing correctly. Is there something in that IE environment that causes that and is there a way to correct that?
