Correct format of date of Qliksense used in postgresql query

hey everyone ive some script written on postgresql and i want to get date wise data in Qliksense ,

ive also used variable but its not working and gives error of  incorrect date format

i suggest you to check the default format coming in qlik sense for the field or can try below code 
date(date#( floor(dateField) , 'DATE FORMAT'))
