Custom extension

Hello everyone, 

I have always been using custom extension for irregular heatmap in a server for a client and it has always been working properly so far.

For a few days, the hub does not allow us to change any mashup with the following error message : An error has occured while creating/saving a file 

A commercial from Qlik assured it was due to the custom extension, I suspect it to be completely false 

Has anyone encountered this and can confirm such statement ?

Can you change and save mashups that don't contain references to this extension? (Or apps that use the extension).
