Cut Off date between two data source in YTD

Hi All,

I have two data source 

one start from 01-01-2016 and end at 01-03-2019.

other start from  02-03-2019 and end at present.

The closing balance from first data source on 01-03-2019  will be carry forwarded to 02-03 -2019 in account wise.

If I want to show it in YTD. What would be the solution ? because YTD sum up all the values from both source.

Any help would be appreciated
