Data Refresh

Hi Guys,

Please help me I have made some dashboard and now my data get changed in file now I want to refresh that data from source. I am not able to see any option to do the same please help me.

Note* I am using QLIK SENSE Cloud Edition

Hi @MeeraAgrawal 

To refresh data from source, you need to reload data from Qlik Sense using Load Data option from Data Load Editor as per below image. You will get this option on top right of your Data Load Editor.

Load data is used to get data from data manager to dashboard not from source. I tried this but not working I want to refresh file from direct local source.

1. Install an cloud drive (google drive or dropbox), put your data files on it.

2. Create connection from qlik sense (QSB) to your files on gd/dropbox.

3. Update your files on drive folder on your local environment.

Below is a diagram illustrating a Qlik Environment, there are three main processes involved in getting the data to your dashboard (in some places it could be as simple as two processes)

Based in your previous comment, it seems you ran process identified by the third arrow, the one refreshing your dashboard from existing QVDs, you need to identify with your IT team the processes getting the data from the Data Sources (arrow #1) and transforming those QVDs into something (QVDs) closer to the ones consume by your dashboard (arrow #2); You need to speak with your IT team asking them for the processes behind arrow #1 and arrow #2
