QVF files should open in Qlik Sense. If you've originally developed in Qlik View, you will want to make sure to check everything after transferring to Qlik Sense as some things may look different/all functionality may not have transferred over.

Further to all,
If you are attempting to migrate your QVW to a QVF, the generally accepted way is to us Qlik Sense DEV HUB to convert QVWs.

Otherwise as @Nicole-Smith stated
- QVW file is from Qlik View and QVF file is from Qlik Sense
Thus you can use the Qlik Sense hub (or the Qlik Sense desktop interface) to open QVF files and the QlikView desktop to open QVW files.
If the QV desktop is giving you an option to save as QVF,, please avoid this option. You should save QVW files as QVW extensions only.
Use the first two bullet points above if you wish to convert a QVW to a QVF.
Kind regards...

Thanks for your response!
I am using QlikView Personal Desktop Edition(version 12.70). And it provides both options for saving as qlikview file(.qvw) and qlik documnet(.qvf). I could not figure out the difference.
