Drill down dates issue

Hi everybody,

in my tables I've got a lof of dates: I made a drill down button so that I can select the year, then the month and the day at the end. I would like to select dates range, but I don't know how to do that. If I select year 2016 I get all the 12 months. Then I would like to get a range and so I select January, February and March. At this point I got a table that shows me all the rows with the date field between 01/2016 and 03/2016, but I'm not able to drill down anymore. I mean that at this point I can't select the days because (obviously) there aren't days that belong to all the three months. What should I do? I'd  like to have something that let me select ranges of data from a drill down menu.
